Quality peer reviewed science points to the fact that a Gratitude practice done 1-3 times per week for just 5min each, can have a large and positive affect on mental and physical health. Many studies also reveal large scale changes in brain circuits related to reduced fear, increased motivation, and even reduced inflammatory cytokines such as IL6 and TNFalpha.
